*NEW* Tap Tags help conserve water this summer
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new ‘Tap Tag’ for the garden tap – a low cost, eye-catching reminder for people to use water responsibly this summer.
Given that gardeners’ contribution to water consumption rises from an average of 7% of domestic use to 50-70% in peak summer months after a dry period, as researched by Waterwise and RHS, we think there is scope for encouraging more people to reduce water consumption outside the house. A range of tap tags
We have developed a number of different designs to help remind you to save water this summer - for dripping taps, eco gardening or car washing. Opportunities for bespoke messages
Commercial clients may be interested to present their own campaign messages on a bespoke product, including a headline message, a URL to your website and your logo. On the reverse it could include guidelines or key messages on saving water in the garden, such as:
-
5,000 litres of water a year from one dripping tap costs around £18 – that’s money straight down the drain
-
Don't use sprinkler systems - they use around 1,000 litres an hour and encourage shallow roots
-
Most lawns only need 1” of water a week to thrive
-
Mulching the ground with organic matter can provide the equivalent of 5cm rain or 20 days' supply
-
Washing a car at home with a hose typically uses between 300-500 litres of water – try a bucket and sponge instead. |
