A survey by Unilever has shown that the average shower is now 8 minutes and rising. By using sensors in the shower, not just relying on people giving imformation, the data has suggested that taking eight-minutes showers would cost an average UK family £416 a year; using a power shower would see the annual bill soar to £918.
